Gucci is pleased to make a one million dollar donation to UNICEF’s “‘Schools for Africa” initiative in Malawi and Mozambique to mark the company’s long-term commitment to UNICEF’s work for children and celebrate the launch of Gucci’s children’s collection.

The new children’s collection – represented by the iconic Gucci teddy bear – is divided into two age ranges from 0 to 2 years and 2 to 8 years, and will launch with the Spring Summer 2011 collection. Recording artist and actress Jennifer Lopez will star in a special advertising campaign dedicated to the launch of Gucci’s new children’s collection and highlighting Gucci’s donation to UNICEF’s “Schools for Africa” initiative.

Over the course of its relationship with UNICEF since 2005, Gucci has committed over USD $9 million, consistently supporting UNICEF’s life-saving treatment, care and prevention programs for orphans and vulnerable children in sub-Saharan Africa, where nearly 1 million children have been orphaned by the HIV/AIDS pandemic.

The partnership has evolved to focus on UNICEF’s “Schools for Africa” initiative, which aims to increase access to quality basic education for millions of children in Africa, with a special emphasis on helping the most disadvantaged – girls, orphans, children living in extreme poverty, and other vulnerable children.

Ewa Larsson for Lindex

Lindex lanserer 8. desember sin tredje affordable luxury kolleksjon i samarbeid med Ewa Larsson!  Jeg syns det ser veldig lovende ut, og det kan absolutt inspirere til å være litt mer lukseriøs i undertøysvalget… det gjelder ihvertfall meg. Kolleksjonen består av undertøy og smykker. Både Rati og jeg har begynt å jobbe i Lindex nå, og gleder oss derfor ekstra mye! Jeg kan i tillegg legge til at vi åpner en stor ny, fresh Lindex butikk på Grünerløkka den 18ende november, da må alle ta turen innom! Kvelden før, 17ende, blir det VIP- kveld og vi håper da at alle dere som har mottatt invitasjon kommer og tar en kikk på den flotte butikken vår, jeg lover at dere kommer til å like det dere ser!
